I had made a post last week about wanting to sell my wii, but the answers still kept me on the fence. I already have an xbox 360 and PS3, and barely ever turn on the wii. My only concern about selling is having some really good games come out that I want to try.
So far though I have only see a new metroid, a new super mario and possibly a new Zelda, all at least 2010 maybe 2011. The wii motion plus also just came out, but I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews.
Any other quality games for someone that is more of a hardcore gamer ?

Red Steel 2-
A highly innovative mix of sword-dueling and pistol shooting, this stylized Wild West epic is looking to destroy the competition with its Motionplus-based swordplay. Coming early next year.
Silent Hill : Shattered Memories-
The legendary horror series makes its way to the Wii with the most promising installment in years - Shattered Memories takes the first Silent Hill game and does a full reimagining with it. No more combat, a focus on psychoanalysis, and even a retwisted storyline make it one to look out for when it launches this Fall.
Rabbids Go Home-
Don't be turned off by the word "Rabbid" in the title - this is in NO WAY a minigame collection, or any sort of party game. Instead it's a comedy platformer that feels like an odd blend of Katamary Damaci, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Super Mario Galaxy. Blended with the Rabbid's excellent sence of humor, don't pass it up when it hits this Fall.
Sin & Punishment 2-
You may not have played it, but the Japanese N64 shooter Sin & Punishment is one of the most interesting games on the console. It's what can only be described as a third-person rail shooter, and it works perfectly with an arcade twang that is undeniably hardcore. The sequel looks for more of the same goodness, but now with precise Wiimote controls. And jetpacks! Coming out early 2010.
Final Fantasy : The Crystal Bearers-
Final Fantasy hasn't had the best track record on Wii, but The Crystal Bearers could change all that. A third-person action RPG with tons of cool powers & places to explore, all in the Crystal Chronicles universe. Even newcomers to the franchise should give it a look when it hits this Fall.
Cave Story WiiWare-
Cave Story is widely regarded as the best free PC download ever, and is even considered one of the greatest games ever made. So you should be looking out for the WiiWare release, which will feature fully redrawn art, new music, a full official translation of the original dialouge, and new side missions. It'll hit the Wii Shop Channel sometime in the coming months.
Super Meat Boy-
Another downloadable gem, this is a bizzare platformer revolving around a block of meat that must journey through puzzling landscapes in a deadly mission to save his grilfriend - Lady band-aid. Odd, but the brutal difficulty will keep you coming back for more. It'll be up on WiiWare by year's end.
Guitar Hero 5-
The only non-Wii exclusive title on the list, but this is still a doozy. Guitar Hero 5 is looking to be the first game in the series to make the Wii the lead console. Exclusive multiplayer modes, full features from other versions, and great visuals make it THE version to buy.

Here is a list of all the GOOD new Wii games that are coming out soon:
Metroid: Other M
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Wii Fit Plus
Metroid Prime Trilogy
In addition, a new peripheral accessory called the Wii Vitality Sensor has been announced. "The Wii Vitality Sensor is a fingertip pulse oximeter sensor that connects through the Wii Remote. According to Nintendo, the device 'will initially sense the user's pulse and a number of other signals being transmitted by their bodies, and will then provide information to the users about the body’s inner world.'"
Also, I have witnessed the applications of the Wii Motion Plus, and I must say they are phenomenal! It greatly increases the sensitivity of the Wii Remote and allows for accurate sensing of its position in 3D space. With this accessory, games like Star Wars could soon include more interactivity in things such as realistic light-saber fighting (if you played the sword-fighting/fencing game in Wii Sports Resort, you would know what I'm talking about).
