I kinda have a dilemma going on here, I don’t know whether to get a Wii or a 360. I have been looking forward to getting a Wii for a while, but then I played Gears of War. It blew me away. Also, now my buddy got a 360 and Gears, so the thought of playing Xbox Live with a couple of friends (that I know in real life) is very appealing.
The problem here is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, I love Zelda games and judging from reviews, this game might match Ocarina of Time in greatness. Although I really want to play Zelda, I just don’t know. The other Wii games look fun, but the 360 already has an established library, since it has been out for a year. The smart thing to do is get a 360, and get a Wii later, so it can get a library of good games. I know this, but it’s freakin Zelda.
It comes down to playing with friends on live, or playing Zelda. I can get a Wii for my Bday, but that will be in about 8 months. I want both systems, but am not sure a Wii just for Zelda is worth it.
I forgot to put that- I don’t think I could get one for Xmas, but there is a chance. I might be able to get a Wii for xmas, but wouldn’t be able to get a 360 for it. A PS3 is out of the question, not enough good games, and the price is way too high.

i have a 360 and its great and Microsoft has always been better.
Wii is just got neat controls and fancy stuff,but 360 has better hard drive and better graphics.it also is hard to use the controls on the Wii.

XBOX 360, because the Wii is probably too expensive and not worth it, and as long as youre having fun, playing gears of war with friends, you dont need a new system, its all about FUN, but you can also just wait for Wii to get cheaper, and see if other people like it.

get both they're arent that much money and it will be fun! thats what im doing but if u can only get one i would take the 360 for now then get a wii because 360 will be easier to get. but wii would come in a very close second because the wii is very fun and its cheap

360, Don't get me wrong, the Wii does look fun. It depends on what you want from a system. As much as the Wii looks fun, it's not as balanced as the 360. The 360 has great graphics, comfy controller, great online play, and a great liberary of games (it's also got a year on the Wii)
But if you want the Wii, get it. But for an overall balanced system, go 360!

You should go for the xbox 360 because of the xbox live. It is fun. it also has lots of great games too!

At this point right now I would get a 360 because of the library it has and its established. Wait a few months so that Nintendo can fix any bugs that can occur with new products. Remember when xbox had recall the first 360's? I won't get the 360 cause I have a pc that I do most of my gaming plus a lot of the 360 games will end up going to the pc. I will get the wii because of the backwards compatibility with past systems plus you can hook up game cube controllers to the system if you don't like the wii remote. I alos like the fact of the motion sensors in the wii remote. Sure ps3 has it also but not all their games are gonna use it if at all. So my conclusion is wit the wii down the road. Plus if you really want to play with your friends on live then wait for windows vista, which will have live anywhere, so you can play with your friends.

Well i mean if u want a system with a couple of great games here and there and will probaly be cheper later on then get the 360.
Wii is new,intuetive and verything!
People say its for kids but i have one thing ot say to them!
It isnt unless a kid knows how ot use a smb stic kor memeory card, knows how to conccet the system to the internet and play online, and could play red steel rated M and do all of that. i doubt ut. 12 is most it can go to as for kids.
Also i like all systems but i htink the Wii is ur best bet!

WII! Graphics may be less but remeber nintendo is getting internet connected to. The games will be waaay more fun. Actually swing a sword rather than pressing the B button. It will be awesomew. If you can dreal with a little lower quaility graphocs go for it and from the screenshots ive seen zelda has AWESOE graphocs!!! I too am deciding now but ill probally get a wii.

360 and wii are both great. PS3 is just too expensive for me to buy right now.
I would tell you right now to buy a 360. It has more games, quite a few of which are very fun to play and well worth the price. Gears of war is amazing. It has ALOTTTT of xbox live stuff to enjoy also. The downside is it costs $150 more than a wii.
The wii is amazing so far and zelda OMG you know its amazing, and i cannot complain about the FREEEEEE wii sports title. Downside is, NO online games until 07 atleast so the only internet stuff is downloading old virtual console games, but as of right now, it dont work the best (i couldnt access the store) and the selection isnt stellar YET! but it will rock soon we all know once the classics all hit the VC.
bottom line go for the 360 right now get xbox live, gears of war, and maybe splinter cell DA and get a gamepass at blockbuster so you can play as many games as you want for $21 for a month. Then later on grab a wii. IMHO pass on the PS3 for atleast 3 months and then decide not that you have much choice on passing at the moment unless your a moron paying $1300+ on ebay. MORONS. -{Pings}-

Wii sports is a fun set of games love it, and xbox has good games too but its perfernce with games from both systems. Always liked nintendo sports games better at times because thier easier to play, but i love racing games on machines like xbox with great graphics. Wii is good system for the money get one your not wasting money. i was sweating playing tennis for 30 mintues straight lol. The wii will be great for games made in the late 1980s i liked like duck hunt, hogans alley shoot them up games. nintendo may not have 30,000 like ps series do, but nintendo games seem a lot better than most games on the playstation to me. Xbox to me is a system that still needs to be explitoed to reach its poteinal. xBox will let hobbists design games and that will be great to see what people come up with. In all both system are good.

I just got a Wii today, and my boyrfiend has a 360. Personall Ive found that the Wii is more based on fun, as Nintendo systems usually are, but the 360 has beautiful graphics. Another plus of the 360 is that it has waymore games out, since its been out year now. 360s are instock almost anywhere, but if you really want a Wii check overstock,com auctions. Theres about 16 up for auction, and most of them are pretty reasonable. Hope this helped. Good luck.

I'd say get the 360 for Christmas. Amazon.com is selling the core for only $100 on Thanksgiving day for the first 1000 customers I believe. I have one and have since last Christmas and love it. The games are just starting to truly become next-gen and will only get better. There is supposed to be TONS of EXCELLENT games coming out this year including GTA 4, Blue Dragon, Halo 3 and many more.
I'd say get the Wii in 8 months, I know thats a long time for Zelda, I've been looking all over to try to get a Wii for the past few weeks (preorders and now, real orders) In 8 months you will defintily be able to find a Wii anywhere and all bugs will be gone by then and in those 8 months you can enjoy gears of war online with friends.

i would recommend you a wii cause just after xmas many great titles r coming out. i just got my wii yesturday and im having lots of fun specially wit my zelda game . wat would you rather play gears of war online which you have to pay and just press buttons or zelda which you can play for free online and use the wii remote. wii is cheaper and just look at wat ppl post. they only talk about graphics and thats it but they dont talk about gameplay.oh yeah and who cares if wii dont play dvd or hd-dvd'd when you can just download movies to the wii is bette to have movies in a memory card than having a buch of dics .just look at ppl wit psp they dont buy umd movies they preffer to download them.

I waited in line at 5:00 am on sunday for the wii. i have been playing it and it rocks i have also played the 360 but i prefer the wii. take it from someone who has expierienced both the wii rocks
